Scarsdale Diet Keep Trim Phase

The Keep Trim Phase begins immediately after the two week diet period and also lasts for two weeks. It's similar to the diet phase however additional foods are allowed such as

  • Bread (2 slices per day, preferably brown, wholewheat or protein)
  • Fruit
  • Fruit Juice (no added sugar)
  • Nuts
  • Milk (low fat)
  • Alcohol (1 drink per day)
  • Pasta (wholewheat)
  • Cheese (preferably low fat)
  • Eggs

There are no menu plans, just stick to the allowed foods. A very good side effect of the Keep Trim Phase is that it promotes healthy foods, many people find that they enjoy and continue to eat the meals discovered during the Keep Trim Phase long after they've finished the Scarsdale Diet.
